Before we teach, we learn. To build a custom therapy plan for a child, an Intellistars Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) visits your child at home, at school, and in a communal setting. They observe and evaluate your child’s skill set and behavior in these different environments to inform our intervention design.
Our BCBA then creates an individualized care plan to guide the ABA therapy sessions. We assign a therapist to work one-on-one with your child, with ongoing supervision and guidance from our BCBA. As they progress and reach milestones, our BCBA updates the plan to push for ever-greater wins.

So when a child feels driven into unwanted behaviors that affect the entire family, we respond with behavior intervention.
Our professionals combine ABA principles with a creative, family-centered approach to gently yet effectively replace unwanted behaviors with healthy, desirable ones. This program is based in behavioral science, and proven to promote appropriate responses to both common and challenging scenarios.
Training for Parents and Families
Parental & Familial Training
For every child, their family is their village; in the effort toward progress, parents and siblings are as powerful as the ABA specialist. Intellistars recognizes that the child’s wellbeing begins with that of the home, and we involve parents as part of the care team. That includes getting their input as well as giving them guidance.
Our family training component is a collaborative effort led by our BCBA, so that everyone together can further the child’s advancement. Parents will receive guidance on observing and responding to their child’s behaviors as well as expert support to empower the entire family.

Social and Emotional Growth
Social/Emotional Enrichment
Above the session, beyond the home. Social skills that come naturally to most children are often a great challenge to children with autism and developmental disabilities. We strive to teach these in a way that endures for life—and in all life settings. So the child flourishes with behaviors that serve them every single day.
Social/Emotional enrichment activities are an excellent opportunity to teach or generalize skills in other settings such as in daycare, on the playground, or out in public. By empowering children to regulate their emotions and process social cues, we can help reduce their stress as they interact with the world around them
